On June 5, 2026, the Huawei ICT Competition 2025-2026 Global Final concluded. A team from the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, Shenzhen University, competed against elite university teams from multiple countries and regions worldwide and won the first prize in the Ascend AI Track of the Global Final.
The Huawei ICT Competition is a top-tier global competition hosted by Huawei for university students to exchange and compete in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Officially included in the competition list of the Chinese Society of Higher Education in 2021, it is the only prestigious national competition sponsored by an enterprise, widely hailed as the "Youth Olympics" of the ICT industry. With the theme "Connection, Glory, Future", this year's competition aims to further boost the practical skills, engineering literacy, and innovative thinking of university students worldwide, and foster a more thriving ICT talent ecosystem. The competition consists of provincial preliminaries, provincial finals, national finals, and the global final, drawing 220,000 students from renowned universities at home and abroad.
